Google Doodles
I’m currently working as a contract Art Director for the Doodles team. I commission static illustrations and animations from a host of international guest artists. The projects I’ve launched so far are Women’s World Cup and Vikram Sarabhai’s 100th Birthday.
Women's World Cup 2019
I conceptualized and produced this Doodle for the very first day of the tournament. This Doodle used characters created by our guest artists to represent women competitors from all over the world.

On the right is a hand drawn sketch that I created using printouts of the characters, colored pencils and paper to show my concept to the team. The finished artwork included daily variations of the original doodle for specific teams that were playing (above, top left) and for placements on different Google and social media surfaces (above, bottom left).
Vikram Sarabhai’s 100th Birthday
I worked with Pavan Rajurkar, a Mumbai-based illustrator to create this Doodle for Vikram Sarabhai, the father of India’s space program. I took this project from artist selection to initial sketch to final artwork and promotion.

To start this project, I provided the artist with a creative brief for the initial sketches based on Sarabhai’s legacy and the Doodle team’s requirements. Above you will see the breathe of initial sketches I received along with the one I decided to develop for final artwork.
