
Holiday Gift Guide 2016
The New York Times gift guide project allowed me to stretch my art direction and project management skills. I collaborated with editors to shape the content, plan photo shoots with our in-house studio and work with advertising on sponsorhip and affiliate links. This project had over 1.5 million pageviews.

I worked with Parallel Studios to art direct the illustration style, animation, store signage GIFs and sound for our cityscape concept.

We used sketches to determine animation flow and speed and adjusted the final to remove any Christmas motifs.

The final animation was delightful, immersive, and responsive on any size viewport.

I also designed the secondary pages with attention to ad placement, typography, color and hierarchy.
